Dr. Nicolas Ellen is the Senior Pastor of Community of Faith Bible Church in Houston, TX and Senior Professor of Biblical Counseling at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, TX. Dr. Ellen is also a Visiting Professor and Co-Director of the MABC program at Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Plymouth, MN. In addition, Dr. Ellen has also developed a biblical counseling training center called Expository Counseling Training Center LLC. Dr. Ellen is a certified Biblical Counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), a Fellow with ACBC and travels worldwide with ACBC teaching biblical counseling principles.
Dr. Ellen received his BA in Business Administration from the University of Houston, Houston, TX; his MA in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas, TX; his MA in Biblical Counseling from the Master's University, Santa Clarita, CA; his Doctorate of Ministry with concentration in Biblical Counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY; and his Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, TX.
Dr. Ellen and his wife Dr. Venessa Ellen have two daughters and four grandchildren.
